Considered one of the great favorites for the final victory, Brazil has revealed its list for the World Cup in Qatar. A group with no real surprise for Tite, who can count on his main executives to try to hang himself a sixth star.
Brazil will go to Qatar with a holy army.
For a few days, the lists of players selected for the Qatar World Cup have been falling one by one. This Monday, it was Tite, the Brazil coach, who decided to reveal his group of 26 in an attempt to get a sixth star. A list without real surprise for Seleao, resident of group G with Switzerland, Serbia and Cameroon.
No surprises in defense and midfield
Indeed, Neymar will be well supported for what could be his last world trial. The Paris Saint-Germain star is accompanied by his club captain, Marquinhos, but also by two veterans, Thiago Silva and Daniel Alves. While the unstoppable Alisson, Ederson and Weverton in the cages are well represented, Tite has chosen to bet on experience for his defense with the call-ups of Danilo, Alex Sandro and Alex Telles, but also those of Eder Miliato and Bremer.
In midfield will be the two former Olympique Lyonnais players, Bruno Guimaraes and Lucas Paquetá. Less prominent since his arrival at West Ham, the playmaker who passed through AC Milan takes advantage of Philippe Coutinho’s injury to validate his ticket. Alongside them, obviously, we find the essential Casemiro and Fabinho, but also Fred and Everton Ribeiro, who complete the heart of the game.
Gabriel Jesus passes in front of Firmino
The offensive sector does not lack quality. Vinicius Jr, Raphinha, Antony, Rodrygo, Richarlison, Gabriel Martinelli and Pedro are present. Although he was not summoned to the last rally, Gabriel Jesus, who is on fire at Arsenal despite his ineffectiveness in front of goal, managed to sneak into Tite’s list. On the other hand, Roberto Firmino failed to convince the manager of him despite returning to great form with Liverpool.
